About Us

HELP of Carpinteria is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that offers door-to-door transportation to non-driving Carpinteria residents who have no other means of transportation.
Since 1988, HELP has filled the transportation gap for Carpinteria residents who no longer drive, and who find that public transportation cannot meet their needs.

HELP currently owns three cars as a result of the generosity of individuals and local service organizations such as the Carpinteria Lions Club and Rotary Clubs, as well as The Wood-Claeyssens Foundation, The Outhwaite Foundation and the City of Carpinteria.
HELP office is generously donated by GranVida Senior Living & Memory Care. It is due to such overwhelming support that HELP can continue our mission of providing affordable transportation for nearly four decades.

Last year, 68 volunteer drivers and dispatchers did their part to keep Carpinterians independent in their homes by providing more than 5,700 rides.

HELP is always looking for volunteers, and if you would like to make a difference in our community, please click the following link to learn more about volunteering your time (INSERT LINK TO VOLUNTEER PAGE).

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Closed on holidays.
To schedule a ride, call (805) 684-0065.
